Model was built in the Pressformwerk (Prefo), founded in 1928 by the tool factory Scholz with company headquarters in Dresden, nationalized in 1952, company headquarters in Annaberg Buchholz - assigned in 1972 to the combine VEB Modell- und Plastspielwarenkombinat, state-owned operation of the GDR, Prefo was directly subordinate to the VEB Modellbahnzubehör Glashütte, the VEB Modellbahn Oybin, formerly Stärz&Co and the VEB Modellbahnwagen Dresden, formerly Schicht, which manufactured model railway carriages and accessories in the H0 nominal size. It was initially distributed by Prefo and later under the trade name PIKO.

Incidentally, if Trade-ins also possible: look for old WM 1:40s, wire axles, accessories and rare glazed models! So that Ebay also earns from it, the model can then be bought (this is how Ebay gets its fee) and then paid for with the exchange model, this applies to all my shop items, but of course only after prior negotiation!
