This small volume “Buntes Durerbuchlein” contains twenty-nine of Albrecht Dϋrer’s works including plants, animals, landscapes, and portraits, all of which showcase his amazing talent. Text is written in German by Eberhand Hanfstaengl, published by F. Bruckmann Verlag of Munchen, Germany in 1950 (Fourth Edition). A great book to be added to the library of an art or nature lover. 

Albrecht Dϋrer (1471 – 1529 was a German painter, printmaker and theorist of the German Renaissance. He was born in Nuremberg and established his reputation and influence across Europe while in her twenties due to his high-quality woodcut prints.  Dϋrer’s vast body of work includes engravings, his preferred technique in his later prints, altarpieces, portraits and self-portraits, watercolors and books. He was one of the most important figures of the Northern Renaissance.
