( Melaleuca alternifoliais )

Tea Tree Oil also known as Melaleuca alternifoliais, is an essential oil that is highly regarding for it´s healing qualities. The oil is extracted from a small tree native to Australia that grows to about 7 Metres in height and cannot be found naturally occurring anywhere else. Tea tree oil is extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia of the Myrtaceae family and is also known as ti-tree, ti-trol and melasol.

Although there are no inherent risks of the application of  tea tree oil, in some rare cases, people may be overly sensitive to the oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil should NOT be consumed.
