Rosy red minnow now rarely available in the UK.

These should be a really popular aquarium fish as they only grow to a maximum of 7 -8 cm .

Making them suitable for smaller tanks compared to the common goldfish who can grow up to 25cm.

They are very hardy and will tolerate a wide variety of conditions and temperatures.

Native to Canada and the USA.

They will eat flaked and mist foods offered to Coldwater Fish.

The red firm is an ornamental version of the wild brown type. We have never seen them revert to the brown type.

These fish can only be used indoors and it is illegal to keep them outside .

Never release them into the wild.
