This is a rare glossy 8" X 10" press photograph of twenty-four year-old STEPHEN SCHWARTZ, making his debut as the composer of the Original Broadway production of the STEPHEN SCHWARTZ and ROGER O. HIRSON musical hit "PIPPIN" which played the Imperial Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 23rd, 1972 and ran for 1944 performances.) .....
