Antique personalized occupational style shaving mug, found in Portugal.

Classic Victorian barber shop fare, the mug has the initials of the original owner and a bold emblem with motto showing he was affiliated with an American Masonic Lodge.  

The condition is good, free of chips, cracks, repairs or excessive wear.

There are some rubs on the gold rim detailing, commensurate with age and normal use. 

The mug stands 3 1\2 inches tall and measures just about the same in diameter.

I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size.

Dates from the last half of the 19th Century.
