Crushed leaves are applied on cuts and wounds to stop bleeding and quick healing. Acts as a diuretic and an expectorant. Used to treat hypertension, asthma, phthisis, snake bite poisoning, gonorrhoea, stones in the bladder and to promote suppuration.
