CALIBRATION


Before scanning,hold TS79 flat against wall.Press and hold the Test Button,the unit starts calibration. Be sure not to move the scanner while calibrating.When it sounds two beeps,the calibration is over.

Steps for usage:


Step 1:Power on the device,and choose the scanning mode you want to detect.
Step 2:After calibration,slowly move the unit sideways across wall(don’t loose the TEST switch).
Step 3: When the center bar appears, stop moving. It means this unit detects an object

(such as an edge of a stud/metal rebar/hot wire ect.).
Mark this spot at the groove(don’t loose the TEST switch).
Step 4 : Continue moving sideways across wall until the center bar turn off,and then,still holding the switch in, reverse direction
and locate other edge, mark this spot.The midpoint between two marks is center of the stud/metal rebar/hot wire ect.)
