New Iron Machine & Design LLC is proud to offer our New Production Plugs for the TOMY WONDERFUL WATERFULS games.
If your plugs are missing, torn, leaking, or hard and brittle, (Like all of mine were) than these replacement plugs will get you back to enjoying your game.
These
plugs were modeled in CAD using original parts, and extensively tested to ensure a leak-free fit. Unlike the originals that used unstable polymers that degrade over time, these are made from Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), a new class of polymers developed to duplicate the softness and flexibility of silicone rubber while overcoming some of silicone's limitations. The TPE material used in these new plugs has a softness rating on the Shore A hardness scale of 75A - The same as Silicone rubber. However, unlike Silicone, this material is tested safe using the EpiDerm™ Skin Model and is safe to use for those with silicone allergies.
These plugs are sold individually. You will either need the "Round" shape or the "Teardrop" shape. The plug shapes are more than just cosmetically different. They are actually different sizes and will not interchange between the two styles. Please see the detail photos for a visual guide to determining which plug you need.
