Silver plated Antique Locket with hand painted Porcelain Portrait  from France !

The technique used in this period was handpainted watercolors on wafer paper and often fine Matt porcelain .

This locket in my professional opinion is most likely from the late 1700's to early 1800's of a " Noble woman "  .

It is silver plated and has a glass partisan to protect the painting .

Measurements are  2 inches x 1  3/4 wide

Note with a delicate hand the painting can be removed at your own risk of course ✨️
