The cover has the function of peeling vegetables, e.g. potatoes, carrots or beets . 

Cover 2.0 allows you to peel vegetables, e.g. potatoes, beets or carrots.

• Simply use the peeling mode on the Thermomix TM6 to peel vegetables quickly and accurately. For TM5 version, speed 4 should be set to 4 minutes, if necessary, the time can be extended by 2 minutes. The cover 2.0 also protects the ingredients from coming into contact with the mixing knife, thus allowing low-temperature cooking (Slow Cook or Sous-vide modes) in the Thermomix.
