Otsuichi
Born on October 21, 1978 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. 1996 debut novel "Natsu to Hanabi to Watashi no Shintai" (Summer, Fireworks, and My Corpse) won the 6th JUMP Novel and Nonfiction Grand Prize. 2003 "GOTH: The Wrist-Cut Incident" won the 3rd Genki Mystery Grand Prize.

Araki/Hirohiko
Born June 7, 1960 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Gemini, type B.' In 1980, he was runner-up for the 20th Tezuka Award in Weekly Shonen Jump with "Armed Poker.'' Debuted with the same work in the first issue of the same magazine in 1981 (This data was published at the time this book was published.)
