How to use awl

----Use chisel pricking iron punch with a large cutting tooth,punching

hole inthicker leather will cause the hole larger because it is too deep.

Generally,first use chisel chisel out trace or chisel into leather half

depth, and thenuse an awl to pass the hole,Consistent front and

back of the hole are thesame, beautiful stitches.

---When making saddles, scabbards, holsters, etc., using heavy leather,

chisel can’t penetrate through leather, then you need to use an awl.

---When making three-dimensional works, such as an arc-shaped surface,

chisel cannot be use, please use stitching spacing wheel to position,

pierce with an awl and sewing.Because of the thickness of needle,
