Fourteen slipcases bound in the publisher's original green cloth (part VII in brown) and containing all 354 specimens. With a bound volume containing the text of parts 1-13 with the original wraps bound in, the text for part 14 is found inside the final slipcase. Formerly in the collection of The American Museum of Natural History with their library markings. There is some cracking and damage to some of the specimens. Two slipcases lack clasps. Slight musty smell. Some fraying and repairs to the slipcases. The bound volume containing the text has several loose and detached sections of pages.

A complete set. In good condition.
