Vintage MCM ceramic kokeshi doll. This Japanese style kokeshi doll features a glossy red glaze over terracotta, engraved face, and helmet style head. Statue measures 6.25" tall x 5" wide at the widest point x 3.75" in diameter at the base and is quite heavy, weighing almost 3 pounds. It is in good vintage condition with a small paint chip on the back of the head (see pictures).
