This rare Vintage Couture dress from the 1980s from the Kanga label by Dale Tryon will bring a smile to your face with it's bright happy colors and flattering shape! Lady Dale 'Kanga' Tryon was one of Prince Charles closest friends and socialized within the British royal circles. She created her own fashion label in 1983 Kanga with the couture line being The Dale Tryon Collection. Princess Diana wore a Kanga Dress to the Live Aid concert which helped elevate Kanga’s range to international status during the 80s. This floral print dress is a blouson style, with balloon sleeves and elastic smocking at the waist. Skirt has elasticated waist for style and comfort. Detached waist tie band. Pleat detail to the front and throughout the skirt. Royal Blue buttons add to the royal feel of the style. Shoulder pads (naturally!) Perfect light weight 100% Polyester fabric, with the brightest and boldest of prints and a vibrant floral sheen.
