Offered here is a vintage NCAA football "Pigskin Preview" program between the Southern California Trojans and The Rice University Owls. The game was played at the Los Angels Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 4th, 1947. The game ended in a 7-7 tie. (Both teams ended the season ranked in the top 20.) The program measures 10 & 5/8 inches long, by 7 & 3/4 inches wide. Not counting the covers, it has 20 glossy pages. Includes photos of the coaches and starting players of both teams. Complete team rosters, advertisements and more. The condition is GOOD. The year, "1947" is written on the front cover. Inside, the scoring section has been neatly filled in. No other writing. No torn, loose or missing pages. There is wear to the covers, not too bad. This item is guaranteed to be old & original - printed approx. 75 years ago - or your money back.
