THUJA PLICATA
is the largest tree of its kind, which, under good growing conditions, can reach over 50 m, with a trunk diameter of 2.5 m. It has wide shoots with bright green and yellow tips.
A heat-loving plant freezes under harsh winter conditions; at very low temperatures it can dry out. An adult tree has a dense dense crown, its lower branches hang down to the ground under their own weight. Scale needles are located crosswise.
In general, thuja has a pyramidal appearance. It quite often grows along the banks of reservoirs, rivers and swamps, loves wet places.
The name can be pronounced as striped thuja, folded thuja.
