Thuja occidentalis Pyramidalis Compacta
Shape: A 5m to 10m tall variety with a pinnate, dense, predictable crown shape.
General characteristics are similar to the traditional Columna, but Pyramidalis compacta has thicker, stronger, more densely packed shoots, shorter.
Growth rate: average 10-25 cm per year - it is easier to keep the height of the hedge.
Color of needles: the needles are scaly, shiny, green.
Relation to light: prefers sun and penumbra.
Soil, soil: moderately humid, fertile loams, without stagnant water. Temperature: Frost-resistant.
Pests: aphids and false moths.
Application: Used in groups, singly, in gardens, parks, as well as for trellises, hedges, alleys.
