Heinkel He219 "Uhu".

The "Uhu" was a nocturnal bird of prey released by the German Luftwaffe to take revenge on the Allied bombers that were coming over the German mainland at night. The high performance of the aircraft has become legendary, with the first sortie of the aircraft slaughtering five Lancasters in a single flight. However, due to friction between the Air Force and Heinkel, production was limited to a small number, and only a few photographs of the aircraft remain. This issue of "The Heinkel Aircraft" is richly illustrated with many of these photographs and explains every detail of the aircraft.
