An annual with velvet inflorescences. Compact bush up to 30 cm tall, densely pubescent. Inflorescences are carnation-shaped, 5 cm in diameter, lingual flowers are brown-red with a yellow spot at the base, in the center tubular flowers are long, orange-yellow. Blooms from June to September. Use for flowerbeds, rainbows, borders and creating decorative spots. Agronomy. Plant is a light-loving, drought-resistant. Prefers fertile and sunny places (can grow in slight shading). Propagated by seeding in March-April. Seeding depth 0.5-1 cm. If the soil temperature is +18°C sprouts appear in 7-15 days. Seedlings are kept at a moderate temperature, picking at the phase of 2 true leaves. Planted in the open ground in late May - early June (when the threat of late spring frosts disappears). The distance between the plants when planting 45-50 cm.
