Vintage Sterling and Gold pill, toothpick, snuff case, found in the recent liquidation of a fine Portuguese Estate.
Measuring 3 Inches by 2 Inches, it has a firm hinged lid that snaps shut securely with a domed lid and base giving it a rectangular oval profile.
The hinge and the trim of the lid are in gold and the catch is mounted with a cabochon sapphire.
The interior has a vermeil wash and is stamped 900...... no other maker´s marks were found.
It has machined details and is monogrammed as illustrated, C K.
It is in overall excellent previously used condition. No dents or distortions, no gouges or issues with the mechanics.
