The ultimate all-in-one solution for your freshwater aquarium when it comes to feeding live food and keeping your floating plants in check. Due to the great feedback and demand for my aquarium feeders and plant rings, I had planned to combine the two together at some point, and after a long period of prototyping and testing with customers and many other fish-keepers/breeders across the UK, this has now became a reality!

The plant ring is completely free-floating, allowing you to simply drop it onto the surface of your aquarium and it will begin to float. It gives you the ability to keep all your floating plant species like Salvinia, Water Lettuce and Amazon Frogbit under control! You have the option to either place your plants within the ring, or, alternatively you can use the ring as a light spot and allow your plants to grow outside the ring.

Your options are endless! If you choose to keep the ring empty as a light spot, it makes the open area the perfect spot for sprinkling in your dry particle feeds, this accompanies the floating feeder great as you can feed live/frozen foods in the feeding cup and feed dry/particles in the light spot. The light spots can be very helpful if you have some plants in those deeper layers that aren't quite getting enough light due to surface plants that can be quite intrusive like Duckweed.

The feeder in this package in particular has been designed for feeding worm type particles such as whiteworm, microworm and bloodworm. The small slots are the perfect size to get your fish in a frenzy as the worms will slowly wiggle out, the perfect time to capture some pictures of your tank mates! A lift pad has been added so you can easily pull the feeder out and swap amongst the different styles I have on offer or if you wish to clean the feeder every once in a while.

If you choose to fill your ring with floating plants, you can still sprinkle small amounts of dry into it however if you plan on using it as a dry feeder as well as live/frozen, I advise you to purchase the other style of frozen feeder too as it is designed for feeding bigger particles than the worm feeder in this package.

If you have already purchased one of my floating feeders already on sale, although the design slightly differs in favor of feeding worms over other species in this pack, the good news is that you can easily slot your pre-existing one into this plant ring and it will work perfectly fine. I have added this ring style to my single plant ring listing (in various diameters) so you may purchase the ring on it's own rather than buying this ring + feeder combo if you already have a floating feeder made by me!

After placing the ring into the water, simply put the feeder into the feeder slot on the ring. The feeder will not sit tight or touch the sides of the hole and will float on its own. The feeder will then be in place and will stay within the ring, simply add food when required and periodically clean the cone feeder!

Slot added to support anchor pins sold with my other ring variations. I have also added a small pick-up point on the feeder so you don't need to put your hands underneath the ring to push out the feeder, you can simply pull it out. Hole has been added to the pickup point for a future add-on for owners to attach string to the feeder to pull it in/out of place.

Material & Manufacturing Information

All materials used are sourced from within the UK and are handpicked to ensure the product is not harmful to aquatic life, they are both freshwater and saltwater safe however the intended use is more freshwater for this product.

In addition to this, all the materials I use are recycled polymers. This is great if you are trying to reduce your carbon footprint like me as a business. Even the packaging for all products is recyclable or reusable, I encourage all customers to keep their packaging for reuse as the packaging is high quality, long lasting and protective!

Shipping and Returns

Returns are accepted in the event your item is broken upon arrival due to mishandling in transit, and also if any defects arise. As mentioned above, this product is also under warranty for a year, so please contact me if any issues arise or you need information on fitting the product.

As standard, all items are sent as Royal Mail 2nd Class Parcel or Royal Mail Tracked 48. Please contact me if you require a more urgent service for a slightly increased fee. There is also a 3 working day dispatch time on all orders, you will most likely receive your order before this date, but sometimes items have to be produced to order rather than a constant stock level being maintained due to the nature of the business.
