PartyLite wax is high quality food-grade paraffin that burns at a low temperature so there are no burns if anyone touches the hot wax. The wax is specially made to consume itself as it burns with no drips and no smoke from the lead free wick. The most important rule of thumb when burning PartyLite candles is to burn a minimum of one hour for every inch in diameter, so for these 3 inch diameter pillar candles, you will need to burn a minimum of 3 hours each time you burn!! Another important fact is to "hug" your candle as it burns. This means to gently roll the outsides in with your thumbs as it burns to insure even burning. Keep flame out of direct drafts. Keep wicks centered (if they start to bend to one side, you will get a high side and it won't burn as even). Use a bobby pin or needle to keep the wick centered as it burns or before it hardens after you snuff the flame.
