Antique Edwardian Arthur Wood Child's floral chamber pot child's potty #5723 planter china porcelain ornament flower pot from England 1910

Lovely antique item with a bright floral design, and with a lovely patina. In very good vintage condition except a (very) little crazing in places. From about 1910.

What makes this item slightly more unusual is its size. Obviously made for a child this piece of porcelain measures 3 inches tall x 6 inches in diameter not including handle (8 x 15 cms).

With the beautiful pink rose design both inside and outside the pot this would be ideal as a flower pot, planter or ornament.

THE ARTHUR WOOD POTTERY was based at the Bradwell Works in Longport, Stoke-on-Trent, the premises of Capper & Wood established in 1884. Arthur Wood became sole owner in 1904 trading up until 1928 when the company name was changed to Arthur Wood & Son Limited and further ranges of tableware were introduced.
