Juan Manuel MENENDEZ (Mena) (1975 - )

He graduated 1998 from the School of Industrial and Graphic Design in Havana. He is a member of UNEAC with Seven first prize awards to his credit.

His paintings leave us to whatever our conceived or accepted  reality is !.....

These Listings from CUBA are from the Estate of John CASUCCIO, who was a well known CUBAN ART Dealer here in Toronto. He knew all the Artists personally from His many visits to Cuba.

This one is done in OIL on CANVAS. Titled verso " SENTIDO" (SENSE) - LOOK on the close up photoes, and maybe you will see what I saw-the Artist has painted a man, looking like He is clinging on to the last tree standing ….. I find it a strong pcs and the more you look at it, the more intrigued I find it, at the same time it is very simple, what a great Artist He is.- Signed lower RIGHT- Measurements: 54 x 42 inches (artwork only) .....please study my photos.

NOTE...Because of the size I will ship UPS GROUND to you---it is so LARGE it will have to be shipped rolled on a 8" sono tube. then I put it into another 10" sono tube for safety-----this you will then have to take to a framing shop and have the Canvas restreched onto a new wooden stretcher.
