Unusual & Rare Antique French Table Lamp c1900. With Integral Candle Holder

Acquired in France very recently, a petite French table lamp that's fab quality, well made & very decorative, it has a cast iron weight on the underside of the base for stability. Comprises gilt bronze & brass sections, unusually has a candle holder to the base, I can only think this is a transitional lamp, dates to when electricity was a pretty new concept & not an option in all homes in France.
