Chromolithographic plate from a book by Paul Lacroix, published by Librairie de Firmin-Didot of Paris. Circa 1885. PLATE: Carpet Ornamentation Following Oriental Types. Italy - 15th Renaissance. Includes helpful one page description of background information (in French). Condition: excellent, bright and clean, deep saturated colors.  Plate measure 11 x 14 inches. The color print, minus the text and border measures 7 5/8 x 11 1/2 inches. Comes in a new clear plastic sleeve with paper lining, for protection. Other plates listed online, for framing -- home / office / business.
