Superb vintage condition with no flaws to be seen, very rare to find these at all really let along in this kind of shape. I'm aware this is not "early" for Brooks Brothers, but certainly earlier than 99.9% of the vintage that you find and they don't turn up from this era very often, early for what you typically find let's put it. This is an all black herringbone grain wool shell, features a three button front style with flap front waist pockets and notch lapels too. It has two button apiece on the sleeve cuffs; the interior has a 40s to 50s era black Brooks Brothers 346 label in black background and crude block lettering, plus a "criss cross" style partial lining that you typically see more in 1940's era stuff, also it has a partial canvas as well. Beautiful interior lining, interior labels, pockets, and perfect inner lining pocket labels including an old union made tag too. Then lastly it has a single vent in the rear. Outstanding shape - literally could be worn right now!
