This listing is for a TYPE-1***  a/c compressor hose assembly for all 1974-76 Firebird, Formula & Trans-Am with factory air conditioning & Pontiac & Olds V8 engine using the stock long style A6 compressor and other stock a/c components.

*** The Type-1 hose assembly has a 29" long discharge hose that connects between the muffler and the condenser inlet fitting.  The Type-2 hose has a shorter 8" hose between the muffler and the condenser inlet fitting.  Both will interchange, but route differently.

This is the hose assembly that bolts to the back of the of the compressor, connecting it to the accumulator at the firewall and the top fitting of the condenser in front of the radiator support.  Part of it has a remote muffler that mounts near the fender-well. 

American-made using  of all new components, including barrier hose that is compatible with both R12 & 134a refrigerants.
