Antique French Cut Steel Beaded Purse and matching cosmetic mirror 1900-1910


Enchanting Antique multicolored beaded purse and matching cosmetic mirror by Import French Steel, Circa 1900-1910. Due to age (over one-hundred years old) this rare purse and matching cosmetic mirror (even rarer) shows signs of normal wear and tear. These unique details add to the beauty, history, and age of this matching duo. More Details: Body of purse: Delicate rose gold, gold, silver, and grey hematite beads form a beautiful abstract design. Beaded fringe in excellent condition (all beads intact). Gold square metal frame has a unique abstract design as well. Chain handle intact but shows slight normal oxidation. “Upside down long diamond” shape dangle near closure. Press release button on top opens purse. Logo tag in interior is in crisp condition. Silk lining is intact. Fabric adhesive has been added to protect the silk lining from deteriorating. Adhesive is removable but not recommended. Seek professional repair advice. No beads missing on body. Slim delicate square cosmetic mirror is wrapped with the matching silk lining in a book cover style. When opened, the right side has a small mirror that is framed in a delicate beige metal frame. On the left side, there’s an opening that is almost the size of a credit card. In beautiful condition. Both are Heirloom and Museum quality!
