PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE.

NOTE: These items are handmade in a small workshop in Mexico City.  They are not mass produced.  Small defects can occur, such as weight difference, stitching, etc.  Due to the difficulty in obtaining these gloves from Mexico, I can only accept returns if there is a genuine defect.  I cannot accept refunds for slight differences, as this is normal and to be expected from Mexican made equipment.

"The Apollo Creed". Named after the  heavy weight boxer from the Rocky franchise, this glove is smooth, quick, and slick!

Sylvester Stallone chose Casanova in the original Rocky film due to its sleek shape.  Back then, Casanova were only known amongst purist boxers, and were scattered across North America, used in old-school boxing gyms because they were so durable.  "Rocky" catapulted it into the lime-light, and from that point on boxers have desired to own a pair, both for nostalgia and for their amazing construction.

Casanova Apollo Creed Extra Protective Training Gloves have specially been made with extra padding in the fist, and with a unique hook-and-loop closure, for maximum comfort, while still maintaining the feedback when you hit the bag.

These gloves are the best gloves I've ever used, and that includes great brands like Reyes, Topboxer, NewSporting, Gil, and Boxeo.  They are similar in feel to Reyes, but have that handmade feel and look that Mexican-made connoisseurs love.  They are a snug fit around the fist, so they require a few weeks to stretch and break in.  The 12oz AND 14OZ are very TIGHT around the fist, and around the base of the thumb area.  They are a genuine 100% leather glove, so they'll stretch and shape to your fist with time, but they are a tight fit initially.  Place a tennis ball in the thumb area for a few weeks to stretch out the leather.

Casanova is one of the original Mexican Boxing Glove makers.  Known for its hardy construction, Casanova Boxing Gloves are made in the true Mexican tradition, tough, rough, and ready to rumble.

These are some of the most beautiful Mexican gloves I have seen.  When I was exploring Mexican boxing equipment, I was, of course, drawn to the Casanova brand due to its long history.

Mexican gloves are handmade in little workshops in the heart of Mexico City.  In Mexico, boxers aren't so much concerned with the WEIGHT of the glove, rather the SIZE.  Mexican gloves are very rarely the weight advertised, and almost CERTAINLY heavier.  If you're looking for something that is very accurate in terms of weight and appearance, I suggest looking at Topboxer who make a wonderful glove (very similar to Winnings).  If you're looking for some old-school, rugged Mexican leather gloves that are hardy and go the distance, then hop right on the train and enjoy the ride!

As the gloves are handmade, small blemishes or inconsistencies in look and weight are to be expected.
