VINTAGE 1934 BRITISH PUNCH MAGAZINE CARTOON - ILLUSTRATION BY FRANK REYNOLDS

Host: “I always say it’s not so much the cue as the man behind it”

A vintage cartoon from the December 12, 1934 Punch magazine, pulled from the magazine, not a modern reproduction. Cropped size, as shown in the first image measures 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches; the full-page size, as shown in the second image, measures 8 x 10 1/2 inches, with unrelated text. Condition: excellent -- bright and clean, no handling wear, paper lays flat for easy framing, unrelated text on front and backsides with some show-through on the facing side, as published.

I have other British Punch cartoons listed in my store. Punch, a magazine of humor and satire, ran from 1841-2002. A very British institution renowned internationally for its wit and irreverence, it helped to coin the term "cartoon" in its modern sense as a humorous illustration.
