Hungarian producer Gnork is a leading light of the house scene in Europe. He was previously of Legendary Sound Research-affiliated outfit Black L3GO but is hard to beat in solo mode. Inner Ride is his latest full-length album and one that finds him casting himself adrift of daily woes into a world of heavenly ambient and downtempo synth magic. There are gently lilting disco floaters, suspenseful drones and retro-future space missions alive with wispy neon melodies and lush arps. What a record.
