The design is supervised by Yoshi Niikawa, the art director of the METAL GEAR series, and is as meticulous in detail as it is in game production. The watch's back cover is engraved with the words "WIRED," "METAL GEAR SOLID V," and "Digiborg," as well as a serial number with 2,500 as the denominator.

It depicts the protagonist Snake wearing a digiborg.
