Saint Cecilia was betrothed to Saint Valerian, whom she converted to Christianity and who became her husband. One day, on returning home from his baptism, Valerian found his wife talking to an angel that held two crowns of roses and lilies, which it gave to the couple.

At more than 125 years old, this large color illustration is nothing short of gorgeous.  Matted and framed it would be fantastic addition to any wall.

The color illustration itself is approximately 8" x 11", tipped in (top & bottom hinged) to heavyweight backing page of 10.5" x 14".  T

Special note: The colors and detail in this print are just fantastic. The photo does not pay due to the richness in the colors.

Beautiful colors - Great Detail

The illustration is in very nice condition unless otherwise noted - Backing sheet has some age, and corner bunts. This is a very hard to find this print in any condition, and this is a nice one.

Condition:  Very good  --  Backing page has SOME age and edge handling wear.
