Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from Calcutta, India to England. Beautiful cancels and markings. Postmarked  September 3, 1924.  In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Nice base camp cancel and special stamp .

Postcard was mailed by John Baptist Lucius Noel, the famous mountaineer and film maker who paid for the photographic rights to the 1924 Mt Everest expedition and who made the great film in 1924 The Epic of Everest.
