This 7-pin round plug provides an accurate visual check via 6 illuminated LEDs to ensure there is power supplied through each correct circuit and that power from the source is active through the trailer plug and to indicate if there is a failure in the wiring on both towing vehicles and trailers/caravans etc.

Just plug the tester in the 7-pin socket/plug of the trailer, caravan, RV etc. and press the yellow button on the side of the tester.

User Guide (Trailer/RV)

1- Connect the 7-hole plug of the trailer to the tester

2- Press the yellow button on the tester, if all the LEDs light up, the line is normal. Each LED light indicates the following:

PIN 1 - Yellow Wire (Left/Hand Direction Indicator)

PIN 2 - Blue Wire ( Rear Fog Lamps)

PIN 3 - White Wire ( Earth Return)

PIN 4 - Green Wire (Right/H Direction Indicator)

PIN 5 - Brown Wire (Right/H Tail & No. Plate Lamp)

PIN 6 - Red Wire (Stop Lamp)

PIN 7 - Black Wire (Left/H Tail & No. Plate Lamp)

If the LEDs do light up, the line connection is incorrect.

 

User Guide (Car):

1- Connect the tester to the car's outlet

2- Press the tester's yellow button

3- If the LED lights up all, the line is normal.

4- Test the function of each pin in the car socket:

5- Turn on the left turn signal, and the test indicator's indicator light Yellow will be on, if the LED light is off, it means the line connection is wrong or the line is broken.

6- Repeat these two steps to test the right turn signal/fog light / etc.

 

Troubleshooting (make sure the yellow button is pressed):

1- Some LED lights do not light up:

The line is damaged or the bulb is broken, or it could be just a bad contact.

2- All LED lights don't light up:

If the ground wire is damaged or all the bulbs are broken, please check the power supply.

3- One or more LED lights are weak or flashing:

The line is damaged or the plug is in contact with foreign objects.

4- All LED lights are weak or flashing:

The ground wire is damaged, please check the power supply.

5- The trailer light does not light up, but the tester LED light is on:

The trailer line is short-circuited and the fuse may burn out.
