Item Description

A neat Civil War era medical tool, known as a bleeder or fleam.  Has three blades. The patient would be cut in strategic places to let out the bad blood.  Very glad we have surpassed this form of medicine.  Marked BROWN on the smallest blade.  Blades are dirty with some mild oxidation.  Measures about 3-1/8" long when folded.
