LIMBOMANIACS Stinky Grooves cassette tape San Fran 1990 funk metal Bill Laswell

This is “Stinky Grooves,” by The Limbomaniacs, a previously-owned audio-cassette tape in the original plastic case. Manufactured by In-Effect Records in 1990, the tape is in great shape and plays beautifully (double-checked)…

The Limbomaniacs were a funk-metal group with hip-hop influences hailing from San Francisco, California. The group is credited with introducing Buckethead to Bill Laswell, having delivered a demo tape by Buckethead into Laswell's hands in 1990 while recording their debut album, which Laswell produced. The group reunited in 2010 to play a live show for the City of Hope Cancer Benefit. Members included Mirv Haggard, Pete Scaturro, Tony Chaba, and Bryan Kei Mantia, who later played with Primus, Guns N' Roses, Praxis, and Godflesh. Track-listing:

2) Maniac

3) Freestyle
