These handy single outlets for the Fluval FX6/5 are perfect for people looking to size things down in their aquarium - the original double outlet by Fluval was reverse engineered to collect the appropriate sizes for this component in order to make it function correctly. Designed to create a less aggressive flow despite being a single outlet due to scooped design. We also have an adjustable version on a ball joint coming soon which is currently being tested! This less obtrusive outlet is perfect for planted aquariums where equipment needs to be hidden or kept to a minimum, as well as biotope and heavily stocked systems. As previously mentioned, a nice flow is achieved with this outlet however those who wish to have more optimized control over their flow may be interested in our adjustable outlet coming soon!
Fitment is as per the original component (which has been pictured for reference in the listing photographs) so you will need the existing, base component (outflow tubing) from your FX5/6 system in order to use this.
