Offered for Sale is this Pair of Vintage TRUAUDIO Music / Theater 4/8 ohm Switchable In Wall Speakers, TESTED, in GUC. Please read the above for the item's description & condition, and please refer to my photos. The approximate dimensions: the trim is 7-15/16" x 11-3/8". The mounting hole needs to be 6-3/4" x 10". The lower speaker has a diameter of roughly 4-3/4". The six securing clamps have a range of 3/16" - 1-3/8". The tweeter has three settings via a 3-position switch as shown in the photos: 3, 0 -3, and there are three settings via a 3-position switch: Music, Music / Theater, Theater. The ohms are switchable via switch on the panel - see my photos. The model number for these may be 0604; I can't find any identifiers anywhere else.
I tested these by connecting them to my existing stereo, and one at a time switched the power on and off multiple times, both with the volume off, and the volume turned up. I turned them on and off with the sound on. There were no "popping" or "scratchy" noises on applied power / sound. There were no such sounds on stopping the power / sound. These seemed to handle volume well - I did not try switching between the 4 / 8 ohms.
The crossovers on these is MASSIVE. The quality is obvious. These will be shipped with plenty of protective bubble wrap and packing peanuts.

Parcel Post and Media Mail delivery take longer than Priority Mail, and International delivery may take longer due to customs. Seller is not responsible for the length of delivery time, nor is the seller responsible for the customs practices of other countries. Seller may provide a delivery confirmation and/or customs document number; it is the buyer’s responsibility to retain this number for reference. If you do not understand this, or cannot wait for an item, then please consider an item offered by another seller.

Any claim of damage MUST be accompanied by clear photos of the mailing container and the claimed damage. The seller cannot foresee or control damage caused by any mishandling of the item by a delivery service or damage caused as a result of where a shipped item was left at, be it the buyer’s home address, place of work, or a stop used by the delivery company. Any such damage is the result of negligence by the shipper and is not represented in the accurate description of the sold item; such damage is OUTSIDE the accurate description of the sold item.
As the United States Postal Services constantly changes the methods of shipping with subsequent changes in shipping rates, every attempt is made to price shipping charges fairly. I DO NOT SHIP “PARCEL SELECT”. If any shipping charge paid exceeds the amount charged by more than the handling fee added to every item, then any “overcharge” MAY be refunded back to the buyer through their Paypal account. ANY oversized item may be subject to a “balloon” charge (dimensional NOT actual weight), and the shipping charge will be adjusted upwards accordingly.
