- Choose a suitable connection point for the oil pressure gauge cuz some engines has a blanking plug on the main engine oil gallery.
- Remove oil pressure switch in most cases.
- Select the suitable adapter to the engine.
- Connect the hose quick connector directly to the adapter or by the 90˚ angle connector.
- Start / crank the engine.
- Bleed air from the pressure hose by the bleed valve with thumb. Tips: A cloth available to soak up the small amount of oil that may spill from the bleed valve while bleeding the hose.
- Release the bleed valve and the live oil pressure reading should be seen on the gauge while the engine is being cranked or run.
