Dieppe Revisited  A Documentary Investigation  by John P Campbell. 1st Edition, Hardback. Pubs. Frank Cass & Co. Ltd., 1993. 247 pages.

The very mention of Dieppe has had a sinister significance since the Second World war. The simple charms of the Channel port have been overshadowed  by the violent events of 19 August 1942. This book focuses on the context of the ill-fated Operation Jubilee - naval and air operations in the Channel, signals and radar intelligence, agents and deception. It draws heavily on official documents, German as well as Allied, to shed light on the blind spots that remain about this famous military operation.

The book, with dustwrapper as issued, is in very good condition but for light shelf wear, a small mark to the front board (see photo 4) and a slight lean to the spine. The unclipped dustwrapper is in very good condition but for some chipping to the bottom front edge and slight staining to the base of each jacket flap, particularly the back flap (see photo 8). Please see all photographs to confirm condition.

Unwrapped weight  525 grams.
