This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the National Tour engagement of the GARSON KANIN comedy "BORN YESTERDAY" at the Geary Theatre in San Francisco, California beginning February 14th, 1949. (The production opened February 4th, 1946 at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City and ran for 1642 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The play starred JEAN PARKER  as "Billie Dawn", the role originated on Broadway by JUDY HOLLIDAY and LON CHANEY as "Harry Brock" and featured WELBA LESTINA, SCOTT McKAY, WILLIAM FORAN, CHARLES E. CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle, a small tear in the left edge and minor creasing, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
