IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE TWO SHOCK OPTIONS:

JKRC9960:

Bigger bore* adjustable aluminium oil shock set, available in a choice of ten colours. This set uses shocks that don't leak that we've been selling for various Tamiya models (& in pairs) for several years. with proven reliability. They're very easy to fit, using your car's original screws. Supplied pre-filled with oil, ready to fit & use. 

We recommend using all of the outer mounting point holes with this set

*bigger bore than the standard plastic friction shocks found on most models, similar in bore size to the aluminium capped shocks on pro versions

Introducing a brand new oil shock set for the FTX Tracer/HBX 16889/Blackzon Slyder - these are strong full aluminium (caps, bodies and top & bottom eyelets), thread adjustable, oil filled and available in a choice of four colours - dark blue, red, black & green. These are very easy to fit, using the car's original screws, supplied pre-filled with oil, ready to fit & use.

We recommend using the upper outer and lower inner mounting point holes with this set.

** JKRC9956 are now also available to buy in pairs **

Both sets are slightly shorter than the originals, hence the reason for using the mounting hole positions mentioned above, to reduce the difference in ride height to only about 2mm.

JK-RC shocks: Please allow for the unlikely possibility of 1/ a slight difference in the shade of the main colour from one shock to another 2/ a +/- 5mm variance in size 3/ light surface marks from the manufacturing process 4/ slight residue oil from the filling process.


Please also note that these are not identical to the standard plastic friction shocks!
