This is a rare March 19th, 1946 program (playbill) from the one-week, Civic Light Opera Association production of the GEORGE GERSHWIN, SIGMUND ROMBERG, WILLIAM ANTHONY McGUIRE, P. G. WODEHOUSE and IRA GERSHWIN musical comedy "ROSALIE" at the Masonic Temple Auditorium in Detroit, Michigan. (The Original Broadway production opened January 10th, 1928 at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City and ran for 335 performances.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a small tear in the top edge of the cover, light creasing and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
