This is a very large (30.5cm tall) blue glass vase designed for Murano glassmaker Venini by Tina Aufiero, dated to 1996. The piece is extremely striking, and these 'Alboino' vases regularly now sell at auction for c£700-1,000. It is signed by the artist and has original Venini sticker. 

Unfortunately this particular vase has suffered a breakage at some point in its life. Sadly it has an extensive crack that runs the full legth of the vase on two sides. The vase is otherwise intact, but understandably this does markedly diminish the piece, hence the low price.
