Set da ciliegie sotto spirito anni ‘20 composto da una bottiglia in vetro soffiato fumé azzurro formato a mano ed inciso alla ruota per ricavare le decorazioni, base ed imponente tappo in vetro nero; sei bicchierini a calice con coppa in vetro fumé azzurro formato a mano ed inciso alla ruota per ricavare le decorazioni, base con stelo in vetro nero.

Tipica realizzazione per questo genere di manufatti degli anni ‘20 - ‘30 del novecento in vetro fumé + vetro nero, ricalcanti la nuova moda e gusto estetico la morbidezza delle forme e l utilizzo delle molature suggerisce il periodo pre art decó.

Ulteriore conferma per la datazione del manufatto è riscontrabile dalla leggera irridescenza verde riscontrabile alla esposizione della luce UV delle parti in vetro fumé; come noto, fino agli ‘40, nella formulazione della massa vetrosa era spesso indicato l utilizzo anche di ossidi debolmente radioattivi; successivamente sostituiti.

Cherries in spirit set from the 1920s consisting of a hand-formed blue smoked blown glass bottle engraved on the wheel to obtain the decorations, base and imposing black glass stopper; six goblet glasses with hand-formed blue smoked glass cup engraved on the wheel to obtain the decorations, base with stem in black glass.

Typical realization for this kind of artefacts from the 1920s - 1930s in smoked glass + black glass, following the new fashion and aesthetic taste, the softness of the shapes and the use of grinding suggests the pre-art deco period.

Further confirmation for the dating of the artefact can be found in the slight green iridescence that can be seen when the smoked glass parts are exposed to UV light; as known, until the 1940s, the use of weakly radioactive oxides was often indicated in the formulation of the vitreous mass; subsequently replaced.

Condizioni/Conditions:

Praticamente Perfette, nessuna rigatura evidente o sbeccatura; set mai utilizzato e probabilmente rilucidato in passato da restauratore per l’ esposizione in credenza o vetrina come da condizioni originali

Gli unici due apparenti difetti, sul fondo del tappo e sul bordo di un bicchierino, sono in realtà i residui della pasta per lucidatura utilizzata, la rimanenza in concavità non è stato possibile rimuoverla.

Perfect, no obvious scratches or chipping; set never used and probably re-polished in the past by a restorer for display in a cupboard or showcase as in original condition

The only two apparent defects, on the bottom of the cork and on the edge of a small glass, are actually the residues of the polishing paste used, the remainder in the concavity could not be removed
