About the Author

Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics, he traveled 100,000 km around the world in a campervan converted from a 2-ton small truck for over two years. He has continued his travels ever since. He has been practicing a program with children and adults to train their mind and body through karate and master English conversation at the same time. He is the principal of Grace English School. He is the president of Grace Institute of World History and Culture and Grace Karate Club. He is a former coach of the Keio University Regular Club Karate Club (2000-2006) and is currently a coach. His books include "Introducing Japanese Culture in English," "Beginning English Conversation with CD" (with Casio electronic dictionary), "Easy English Conversation Lesson for Elementary School Students with CD" and "English Conversation Just before Homestay with CD" (both from Nutmesha), "Illustrated Guide to Japanese Culture in English" (for elementary school students: 3 volumes), and "Speaking in Junior High School English. Japanese Culture" (3 volumes) (all published by Shobunsha).
